Santa Elena residents invited to join for Clean Up campaign

Posted: Thursday, August 1, 2019. 11:39 am CST.

By BBN Staff: The Bishop Martin and Bradleys Bank Neighborhood Watch have teamed up to conduct a clean up campaign on the La Loma Luz Boulevard in Santa Elena, Cayo.

The clean up campaign will commence at 8:00 a.m. from the Rotary Park in Santa Elena.

All residents are invited to come out and keep our communities clean.

Keeping our community clean is crucial to prevent diseases such as Dengue.

The Ministry of Health is advising all Belizeans to dispose of unusable tin cans, jars, bottles and drums since these can become mosquito breeding sites.

Dengue cases in Belize have doubled compared to 2018 cases.
