Man knocked down in Teakettle Village passes away

By BBN Staff: Our news room has confirmed that the man who was knocked down in Teakettle Village passed away tonight at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

The man, identified as Margarito Vanegas, 50, was knocked down this morning just before 10:00. He was walking on the George Price Highway when he was knocked down by a cargo truck.

Vanegas sustained various injuries and was rushed to the KHMH where he was clinging on to life. A video shared with BBN this morning showed Vanegas lying on the ground immediately after he was knocked down, and it was clear that his injuries were serious.
