BBQ fundraiser to be held for Kyron Green, 11, who was shot in the face

By BBN Staff: The public is asked to support a fundraising effort for gunshot victim Kyron Green, 11.

On May 17th, this standard four student was accidentally shot in the face while inside a shop on Central American Boulevard in Belize City.

That gunshot wound has since paralyzed him from his neck down.

The barbecue (BBQ) sale is part of a series of fundraising activities being conducted by family and friends. The funds raised will be used to assist in getting Kyron Green airlifted to the United States for treatment. Since being shot, Kyron has shown overall progress in his condition, but he is in need of further treatment and therapy in the United States.

The prices are as follows: BBQ CHICKEN, $6.00; BBQ PORK RIBS, $10.00; BBQ PORK CHOPS, $8.00; ITALIAN SAUSAGES, $ 7.00.
