By BBN Staff: Wet weather is expected to clear up by this afternoon as a tropical wave moves away from the country, according to the latest forecast prepared by the National Meteorological Office of Belize.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with only isolated showers this afternoon.
Today’s temperature highs will reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will reach 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 Knots, and the sea state will be choppy. There will be a low tide today at 12:04 p.m. and a high tide at 7:05 p.m. The sun will set today at 6:21 p.m. The moon will rise today at 1:52 p.m.
