Become a part of a community with purpose: One World Village sale ends today

Posted: Saturday, August 10, 2019. 6:43 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Today is the last day to take advantage of the special offer to own property in One World Village, an eco-village at the edge of San Ignacio which is one of the only conceptualized communities in the country.

The sale and open house starts off today at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Interested persons can come down to the community, which is only five minutes drive from San Ignacio Town for a tour of the area, see the lots and get more information about the concept for this eco-community, which makes it one of the most unique places to own property in the country. Various real estate companies such as Century 21, Remax,4Realty, and Groupo Mar, just to name a few, will also be at the open house for those who feel more comfortable working with a realtor.

Many of the lots average a half-acre in size but some go all the way up to a full acre. The area itself is about 25 acres, with a river park inside the community. All residents in the area will also have access to the Macal River.

Proprietor Bart Mickler explained that the purchasing process will be smooth because all titles to the properties are original titles, which cuts down the number of processes necessary to close the sale.

Mickler said that the vision for the community dates back to 2007 when he and his wife were exploring their property and realized they had some of the most pristine lots overlooking San Ignacio. He said that the planning that went into the community ensures residents the peace of mind that they won’t have to contend with environmentally
unfriendly businesses or developments, or establishments being erected within the community that will be noisy or otherwise a nuisance. The gated community and security measures in place will also provide a measure of safety for residents they will appreciate.

“We can look down on San Ignacio and watch the cars drive over the Hawksworth Bridge,” Mickler told Breaking Belize News as he emphasized the beauty and novelty of the location.

The community also has an allotted area for community gardens to add to the experience. Those wanting more information can call 501-674-1919, send an email to [email protected], or visit www.oneworldvillage.bz.
