Governor General receives three diplomatic visits at Belize House today

By BBN Staff: Today, three diplomatic visitors, two ambassadors and a High Commissioner visited Governor General H.E. Sir Colville Young, at
the Belize House in Belmopan.

The two ambassadors H.E. Mr. Nguyen Hoai Duong of Vietnam and H.E. Mr. Valentin Petrov Modev of Bulgaria, went to the Belize House to present their credentials. The Governor-General welcomed both ambassadors and offered his best regards to them during their tenure in Belize, while the ambassadors both conveyed the intentions of their respective countries to strengthen diplomatic ties. Belize has had diplomatic relations with Bulgaria since 1994, and relations with Vietnam since 1995.

The newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Belize, H.E.  Manpreet Vohra, also paid a courtesy visit to the Governor-General, along with his family.
