PUP Leader recovering from traffic accident

By BBN Staff: One week after the traffic accident that left PUP Leader, John Briceno and his driver, Edwin Hill with minor injuries, Briceno issued his weekly statement urging Belizeans to drive carefully.

Briceno thanked everyone for their messages of concern and well wishes.

His weekly message was focused on the theme of safety while driving.

“ Drive carefully and please wear your seatbelt…. When I think of how many Belizeans have lost their lives to traffic accidents in the month of August alone, it makes this message even more important. So, let us work together to practice safe driving,” Briceno said.

He urged all drivers and passengers to buckle up their seatbelts and drive within speed limits.

Briceno said that his recovery is moving at a rapid pace.
