Commencement process to establish village water boards underway

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Labour, Local Government and Rural Development notifies all Area Representatives, Village Councils and the public that in accordance with Part VII Sections 43B (1) and (2) of the Village Councils Act, Chapter 88 of the Laws of Belize Revised Edition, 2011, the process of establishing Village Water Boards for the rudimentary water systems has now commenced.

In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the Ministry, via the Rural Development Unit will be following up with Area Representatives and Village Councils for their inputs.
