More wet weather ahead

By BBN Staff: Today, the National Meteorological Service of Belize said that weather conditions will become moist and unstable during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms today, becoming cloudy tonight with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly over the southern part of the country and some coastal areas.

Today’s temperature will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing East between 10-20 Knots and the sea state is moderate.

There will be a high tide at 10:18 a.m. and low tide at 5:16 p.m. The sun will set at 6:17 p.m. and will rise tomorrow at 5:36 a.m. The moon will rise today at 7:58 pm.
