Department of Environment calls Public Meeting to discuss Issues Affecting the New River

By BBN Staff: The Department of the Environment (DOE) will be hosting a public meeting to present information on issues affecting the New River and to give the public the opportunity to voice their concerns on the matter.

The DOE encourages the public to come out to be informed of the state of the river, corrective actions that have been taken, and future actions that will be put in place to protect the New River.

The meeting will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Gala Lounge, located on the Belize/Corozal Road, Orange Walk Town.

The meeting will commence at 7:30 p.m.

The public is invited to participate in this very important meeting.
