CitCo summer league semifinals results

By BBN Staff:  Yesterday the Belize City Council’s summer basketball league entered the semifinals round.

In the U-15 category Caribbean Shores lost to defending champion, Lake I. On the other hand, Freetown defeated Collet.

In the U- 17 category Queen Square lost to Pickstock,  while Lake I lost to Caribbean Shores.

Those who lost yesterday will compete for third place today as the winners battle for second and first place.

Councilor Micah Goodin who heads the Youth and Sports portfolio at City Hall told us that the teams playing this weekend emerged as the leaders of a five-week tournament organized by the council.
