Mostly sunny weather expected today

By BBN Staf: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize calls for mostly sunny today with only isolated showers expected cloudy spells tonight with a few showers or thunderstorms over the south.

The conditions are due to a moderate to occasionally gusty east to southeasterly airflow prevails over the country.

Today’s temperature is 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing East-Southeast between 15-25 Knots and the sea state is moderate to rough.

There will be a high tide at 11:32 a.m. and a low tide at 6:16 p.m. The sun will set at 6:16 p.m. and will rise tomorrow at 5:36 a.m. The moon will rise today at 8:34 p.m.
