Family loses home in a fire

By BBN Staff: Authorities are still investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a home in Lords Bank, Belize District.

Around 8 pm on August 18, 2019, the home of Kimberly Betancourt was destroyed by fire.

Betancourt was living in the wooden home with a friend.

Sources confirmed to BBN that Betancourt believes that someone whom she had a previous relationship with intentionally lit her home on fire.

An investigation is on-going.
