Health Services encourages vaccination for Measles

By BBN Staff:  The office of the Director of Health Services issued a statement today informing of a 4^th confirmed case of measles for 2019 in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Of the 4 cases, 2 are tourists who hadn’t been vaccinated while the third person is a Mexican national who had not been vaccinated and was infected by a tourist, and the 4th person is a foreigner who is living in Quintana Roo and denies any vaccination history.

The cases continue to indicate the relevance and importance of vaccine coverage.
