High School students welcomed for new school year

By BBN Staff: Today is the first day of the new school year 2019-2020 for all high school students countrywide.

Thousands of students across Belize are heading to high school in their neatly pressed uniforms ready to learn.

Teachers have been preparing their classrooms with colorful teaching aids, plans and learning centers for their new students..

Parents have also been preparing their children with the necessary books and school utensils for another nine months of classes.

Today marks an important chapter in each student’s life as they embark on another chapter of completing their education.

Educators take on the task of sharing valuable knowledge with their students. 

The students become a family and the classroom is their new second home.
