500 high school students receive school bags in Mesopotamia from Shyne Barrow

By BBN Staff: Every year around this time, since 2014, Shyne Barrow has distributed school bags to high school students in the Mesopotamia constituency of Belize City.

Five hundred high school students were gifted with the schoolbags through the Mesopotamia Human & Social Development Foundation chaired by Barrow & his wife.

“Nothing compares to the feeling of giving to others,” Barrow told BBN. “My purpose is to ease the burdens of Mesopotamia families as relates to education. There is nothing more important for a child, in addition to good parenting,” he further added.

Assistance with education bills, books, school uniforms, haircuts and hair braids are all a part of Shyne‘s back to school program.
