Police investigate shooting in Santa Elena

By BBN Staff: San Ignacio police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Santa Elena, Cayo.

Around 9:30 last night, police responded to a report on  Perez Street, Santa Elena. There, they saw Arden Quiroz,18, with an apparent gunshot wound.

Quiroz reported that he was socializing in a yard when a man walked up to the fence and fired shots in his direction.

He was transported to the San Ignacio Community Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating.
