Commissioner of Police conducts Meet and Greet in Santa Elena, Cayo

By BBN Staff: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams was in Santa Elena Town, Cayo this afternoon conducting a ‘Meet and Greet’ with residents.

Williams encouraged residents to report suspicious activities to the police and discussed crime prevention strategies.

Williams was joined by Officer Commanding San Ignacio Police, Henry Jemmott, Officer Commanding Community Policing Officer, Sgt. Jason Jones and officers of the San Ignacio Police Formation.

“ We want to hear from the people of the area about the work of the police. We want to assure the public that we will do all we can to bring the town back to normalcy and we encourage residents to do all they can do ensure their personal safety,” Williams said.

In addition, the commissioner assured that he and the Officer Commanding San Ignacio are working together to assist in keeping things calm.
