“Dry weather today,” says Met Office

By BBN Staff:  The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that warm, dry weather is expected for today and into tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today, with only partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers, if any, will be isolated.

Today’s temperature will be 89 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing East-Northeast between 5-15 Knots and the sea state is light chop.

There will be a high tide at 8:48 a.m. and a low tide at 3:42 p.m. The sun will set at 6:08 p.m. and will rise today at 5:52 p.m. The moon will rise today at 6:02. pm.
