Man escapes street justice after injuring common law wife, residents deal with vehicle instead

By BBN Staff: A man who is accused of injuring his common-law-wife tried to escape street justice from a small group of residents in the area.

Residents who saw what happened decided to take matters in their own hands. However, the accused abuser saw what was coming and fled the scene. After not being able to deal with the abuser, the bystanders punctured the tire and broke the back windshield of his sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The incident happened late yesterday in Belize City.

Authorities were called to the scene and later found the damaged vehicle.
