Home invasion in Orange Walk 

By BBN Staff: There was a home invasion in northern Belize on Saturday night.

The incident reportedly occurred in San Lazaro village, Orange Walk.

There, Romeo Carrillo and his wife were at home when three armed assailant entered and held them up. The assailants hit Carrillo with a gun and inflicted 5 stab wounds to him. They also physically assaulted his wife. 

Carrillo and his wife were then tied up and the assailants made off with some of their prized possessions, including their cell phones, jewelry and $1,300 worth of cash.
