San Ignacio & Santa Elena Town Council to host September Fair and Sports Activities this weekend

By BBN Staff: The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council has launched their September Celebrations Fair and Sports Extravaganza in the twin towns.

The Santa Elena Sports Complex will be the venue for the event which is scheduled from September 7th and 8th, 2019.

Among the many sporting activities, there will be aa runathon, volleyball competition, basketball tournament and many more games.

In celebration of Hitz 3rd Anniversary, there will be a concert on Saturday night featuring Trinidadian artist, Olatunji alongside Belize’s General ‘Supa G’.

On Sunday, September 8th at 3pm, there will be a military display followed by a football competition, greasy pig, and greasy pole.

The event will culminate with a DJ competition.

To end the night, there will be music by the New Generation Band.
