“Weather to be moist and unstable,” says Met Service

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that moist and unstable weather conditions are expected for today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur over inland areas this afternoon and evening and then over some coastal and offshore areas tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 91 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing between 5-10 knots with the sea state being slight – light chop.

There will be a high tide at 12:15 p.m. and low tide at 6:19 p.m. The sun will set at 6:06 p.m. and the moon will set today at 8:16 p.m.
