Warm weather expected today

By BBN Staff: Today’s weather forecast, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, is for warm weather to prevail. 

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated especially over inland areas. 

 
Today’s temperature will be 90 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on thee coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. 
 
Winds will be blowing between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight. 

 
There will be a high tide at 1:07 a.m. and a low tide at 6:59 p.m. The sun will set at 6:04 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 9:46 p.m.
