San Ignacio residents busted with weed in Corozal

By BBN Staff: Corozal police made a drug bust last night.

Shortly around 7 o’clock, the attention of a patrol was drawn to a green van bearing San Ignacio license plate in Patchakan Village, Corozal.

Officers approached the occupants and informed them that there would be a search.

The van and its occupants were led to the Corozal police station where the search was conducted.

That search led to the discovery of 10 parcels of cannabis which weighed 3,682 grams.

Two residents of San Ignacio have since been detained pending charges.
