Unstable weather expected in the weekend

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that today’s weather will be slightly moist and unstable.

The 24-hour forecast calls for the day to be cloudy at times with a few showers and thunderstorms mainly over central and southern areas. Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected for tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be variable and blowing between 5-15 Knots with the sea state will be choppy.

There will be a high tide at 4:59 p.m. and low tide at 9:41 p.m. The sun will set at 6:02 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 12:42 p.m.
