Gun and ammunition found in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, police  and other agencies conducted searches on an abandoned lot located on Bullet Tree road in San Ignacio.

There, they found a black plastic bag containing a box of (55) S&B brand of .38 special ammunition.

Authorities also found a .38 special revolver pistol, (4) GFL brand 38 rounds of ammunition, and (1) R-B 38 round of ammunition.

All to a total of (60) live rounds of .38 special ammunition.

 No one was in the immediate area.

All items were labeled and sent for ballistic testing.
