Charges to come following George Street shooting

By BBN Staff:Two men were shot in Belize City yesterday.

They are Laquan Flowers, 20, and Mark Phillips, 20.

Police say that they were socializing at a residence on George Street when a grey SUV approached.

An occupant inside the vehicle lowered his glass and opened fire.

Both men received injuries to their lower bodies and are listed in stable conditions.

Police say that several persons have been detained but one will be charged shortly.
