Edward Broaster: Carnival 2019 was peaceful

By BBN Staff: Deputy Commissioner of Police, Edward Broaster, today confirmed that there were no major incidents at the carnival held this weekend.

“The public heeded our advice and we thank them,” he said.

He added that there were minor fights here and there but the event was generally peaceful and everyone enjoyed themselves.

For this, he thanked the public and especially the police officers who were active on duty while the populace celebrated.
