“Unstable weather ahead,” says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that today’s weather will be relatively moist and unstable.

The 24-hour forecast calls for the day to be cloudy at times with showers and thunderstorms over most areas today, and mostly over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be East blowing between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

There will be a high tide at 7:28 a.m. and a low tide at 2:24 p.m. The sun will set at 5:58 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 4:01 p.m.
