Weather system “Invest 95L” could become a tropical storm, meteorologists say

By BBN Staff: Meteorologists are keeping a close watch on weather system “Invest 95L” saying that it has the possibility to become a tropical storm within the next five days.

The system is one of three in the Atlantic basin at the moment, but has the greatest potential to become a named storm within a week. Invest 95L is, unfortunately, on a course to pass the Bahamas, and whether or not it becomes a tropical storm by the time it arrives is still expected to drop a few inches of rain on the country, which is still trying to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Dorian.

Should Invest 95L become a named storm before any other weather systems it will be called Humberto. Weather experts are reminding everyone to remain vigilant as the year has entered the peak of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
