Digi donates $20,000 to YWCA and Haven House

By BBN Staff: On September 13, 2019, Digicell Belize handed over two cheques for $10,000 each to the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) and Haven House.

On August 24 and 25,  Digi held its first annual Ride for Belize to donate funds to two non- profit organizations who have each assisted the community in various forms.

The donation were proceeds of the charity ride.

The funds will be used to renovate the kitchen at the YWCA and assist Haven House in the construction of a transition home for victims of domestic violence.

Digi thanks all participants and sponsors who assisted in making this ride a success.
