Fair weather persists

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that mainly fair weather will prevail over most areas today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers will be isolated across the country today, then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over southern and coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.  Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds are blowing East between 5-15 knots and the sea state is light chop.

There will be a high tide at 11:15 a.m. and a low tide at 5:29 p.m. The sun will set at 5:53 p.m. and the moon will rise at 7:45 p.m.
