UWI Belize award 13 students Global Giving Scholarship Bursaries

By BBN Staff: The University of the West Indies, Open Campus, Belize has awarded Global Giving Scholarship Bursaries  to (13) Belizean students.

The bursaries range from $1,500 to $5,000 Bz dollars.

An official ceremony will be held on Thursday September 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at the UWI Conference room (Telecon II). 

The University of the West Indies, Open Campus Belize is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Belize Global Giving Scholarship Bursaries.

Graduate Bursary Awards:

Undergraduate Bursary Awards:

Alexis Rodriguez

Awardees were selected for the following awards:

o        Three (3) Bursaries of BZ$5,000 each: Graduate includes PhD/EDd/Masters

o        One (1) Bursaries of BZ$1,500 each: Graduate  for Post Graduate Diploma

o        Six (6) Bursaries of BZ$3,000 each , one (1) Bursary of BZ$2,500.00 and two (2) Bursaries of BZ$1,500 each – Undergraduate (Bachelors programmes)

All bursaries are awarded on Academic Merit/Performance and co-curricular activities.
