Weather projected to become unstable

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that the weather will be slightly moist and unstable today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today along with a few showers or thunderstorms mainly over inland and northern areas this morning. Partly cloudy tonight with a few showers or thunderstorms mostly over the south.

Today’s temperature will be 86 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing in the East between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

There will be a high tide at 11:54 a.m. and a low tide at 5:50 p.m. The sun will set at 5:53 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 8:22 p.m.
