2 Belizean scouts selected to represent Belize at the Inter American Leadership Training in Panama

By BBN Staff: Two Belizean scouts have been selected to represent the Scout Association of Belize at the 7th Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT) to be held in Panama.

Connie Castellanos from the 27th Cayo-Santa Elena Jaguars Scout Group, and  Benedicto Chiac from the 9th Belize- St. Ignatius Scout Group will attend the training which will be held in Panama City, Panama from December 29, 2019 to January 4, 2020.

“ I’ve been selected to represent the Scout Association of Belize at the 7th Interamerican Leadership Training (ILT) to be held in Panama! Attending this training has been a major goal of mine and it’s happening. It’s really happening!!! Panama here I come,”  Castellanos said.

The regional event is held for young people of the Interamerican Scout Region in which they work on their leadership skills and in an intercultural environment.

This project has nurtured many Young Leaders of the Interamerican Scout Region.
