By BBN Staff:The Office of the Director of Health Services today informed that dengue cases countrywide are now at a total of 3,376.
Of those, 1,468 are clinically suspected cases and 1,908 of are laboratory confirmed cases.
The highest overall rates remain in Orange Walk, Stann Creek and the Cayo districts.
A total of 2.2% of the cases have been classified as severe dengue.
The Ministry of Health says that with the rains now starting to be more frequent, all communities are urged to remain vigilant and proactive in the elimination of breeding sites.
