By BBN Staff: In its latest weather report, the National Meteorological Service of Belize says today’s weather is expected to be relatively moist and unstable.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly offshore and over some central areas this morning, then mostly over southern areas this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated tonight.
Today’s high temperatures will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing in the Northeast between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight – light chop.
There will be a high tide at 2:15 p.m. and a low tide at 6:48 p.m. The sun will set at 5:50 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:30 p.m.
