“Slightly moist and unstable weather ahead,” says Met Service

The latest weather report, prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that today’s weather conditions will be slightly moist and somewhat unstable.

The 24-hour forecast calls for the day to be warm with mostly sunny skies and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated and will increase over the south this afternoon and tonight.

Today’s temperature will be 89 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing in the East between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

There will be a low tide at 10:48 a.m. and a high tide at 4:48 p.m. The sun will set at 5:48 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 12:50 p.m.
