Building Healthy Communities: Caribbean Wellness Week

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, PAHO, the New York Chapter of the Belize Diabetes Association (BDANY) and other stakeholders is celebrating Caribbean Wellness Week this week.

The week is used to promote healthier communities by enabling persons to practice healthier lifestyles.

It is being commemorated under the theme, “Building Healthy Communities.”

Among the many activities is a wellness expo happening tomorrow at the Ecumenical High School in Dangriga.

All residents are invited to join in and learn more about healthy living.
