Police investigate shooting incident in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred last night in Belize City.

Around 8:25 pm, Mark Anthony Clarke was standing at the corner of Pitts Alley and New Road when a man riding a bicycle approached Clarke and pulled out a firearm and shot him.

Clarke was taken to the KHMH for medical treatment.

He has since been treated and released.

Police are investigating.
