Weather conditions to remain unstable

By BBN Staff: Keeping with weather patterns for the last few days, the weather forecast prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize calls for moist and unstable conditions to continue countrywide.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over northern areas, becoming generally isolated after mid-morning, then a few more over southern and some coastal areas tonight.

Today’s high temperatures will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy-rough.

There will be a high tide at 10:28 a.m. and a low tide at 4:25 p.m. The sun will set at 5:42 p.m. and the moon will set today at 6:49 p.m.
