By BBN Staff: Police have no motive or suspects in Friday night’s shooting of Mark Clarke, 42.
Clarke was standing on New Road in Belize City when a man walked up to him and opened fire.
He was struck once and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital from where he was released on Saturday morning.
Police say that he had only suffered a flesh wound.
Earlier this year at the same location Clarke was shot in the head.
Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvette, when asked if the previous shooting was related was unable to provide any assistance.
“I do not recall,” he said.
