Fair weather expected today

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report, prepared by the  National Meteorological Service of Belize, says that fair weather is expected today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy spells tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, except for a few areas over the south and some coastal areas tonight.

Today’s high temperatures will be 87 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 71 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will blow between 00-5 knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a high tide at 12:06 p.m. and a low tide at 5:40 p.m. The sun will set at 5:42 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 8:35 p.m.
