By BBN Staff: On September 26, 2019, Lorenzo Santiago of Salvapan, Belmopan was charged for the crime of “Using a sign to Promote a Gang Related Activity”.
Santiago was arraigned at Magistrate Court in Belmopan where he pled guilty and was fined $3,500 plus $5.00 cost of court, to be paid by December 31, 2019.
In default of the fine, Santiago will spend 12 months in prison.
Lorenzo had publicly acknowledged ties to the 18th Street Gang.
