“Unstable weather ahead,” says Met Service

The National Meteorological Service of Belize calls for relatively moist and unstable conditions throughout the day
due to a broad area of low pressure.

The 24-hour forecast says that skies will be cloudy with sunny breaks today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mostly over inland areas this afternoon, then spread to most areas tonight with some periods of rain.

Today’s temperature will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing West-Southwest between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a high tide at 1:48 p.m. and low tide at 7:03 p.m. The sun will set at 5:39 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:33 a.m.
