Weather to become more unstable tonight

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report prepared by the National Meteorological Service of Belize’s calls for moist conditions today becoming gradually more unstable by tonight.

The 24-hour forecast calls for the day to be sunny with isolated showers or thunderstorms developing inland this afternoon. Cloudy skies at times tonight with a few showers and thunderstorms and periods of rain mostly over northern and inland areas are expected.

Today’s temperature will be 89 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be variable, blowing between 0-5 Knots and the sea state will be slight.

There will be a high tide at 2:51 p.m. and low tide at 7:58 p.m. The sun will set at 5:43 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 11:30 a.m.
