Shooting last night leaves security guard critical

By BBN Staff: A security guard is in critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial hospital after being shot to the face last night.

Reports are that Rodman Welch, 33, was on duty inside the security booth at Excelsior High School in Belize City sometime after 10 pm. when a gunman entered the compound and shot him.

The motive for this shooting is not known at this time.
