Love Foundation and Shyne Barrow One Stop Job Center Launches

By BBN Staff: The love foundation has partnered with the Mesopotamia Human & Social Development Foundation to bring job training, preparation and employment to the Mesopotamia constituency in Belize City.

UDP Standard bearer and Executive Chairman of the Mesopotamia Foundation, Shyne Barrow says he is grateful to the love foundation as partner in preparing and finding jobs for his people in Mesopotamia.

Executive Director of the Love Foundation says to date they have secured 188 jobs for participants of the program.

The one stop job center teaches interview etiquette, identifies what field of employment you’d be most suitable for, then goes out and finds the employer for you out of its massive data base of private sector business connections.

Barrow says “empowering my people through employment is my agenda, I couldn’t ask for a better program that assists Mesopotamians start to finish in preparing then actually finding a job”.

While the unemployment nationwide is lowest in decades, Barrow says he will not be satisfied, “until everyone in Mesopotamia who is willing and able to work is employed.”
