Kidnapped Mexican minor found in Belize

By BBN Staff: A 13-year-old minor that was reportedly kidnapped in Tulum, Mexico was found in Belize.

The minor, Andrea Naomi Olvera Ximello disappeared from her home on September 28, 2019.

Mexican media reported that the child had been kidnapped from her home. As such, an amber alert was issued for the minor and the family launched a search.

On October 6, 2019, the child’s mother posted to her social media page that the child had been found safe.

The minor was reportedly found in the Corozal District of Belize.

Belizean authorities say that they have no details on this case. Meanwhile our colleagues at CTV3 News have contacted Mexican authorities to get more details.
